We have used the Bambu Labs X1C and the Bambu Labs H2D for all of the 3D printing of the SIM Rig hardware. The print quality of the Bambu Labs printers is outstanding right out of the box. We have used 3D Modelling software like Solidworks, AutoDesk Fusion and Sketchup and the Bambu Labs Slicer to make 100% of the parts shown below.

The top roll cage has been temporairly installed before painting.
These are 3D printed (clones) of a real race car Safety Net Disconnects
Special care must be taken when interfacing 3D printed part assemblies to prevent premature failure.
Side safety nets significantly enhance the immersion factor.
Dashboard now sports a PC remote control.
The roll cage is coming along nicely. These are 30º 1.5" PVC tube adapters.

4/2025 Everything is getting set up. Lots of changes to be made
4/2025 Wire and cable management has been a MUST with all of the resultant wires that were exposed.
Today is one month since have started ordering parts, and everything is finally arrived. Now we take what time to we have to assemble every detail of this SIM Racing Rig. Stop over for some fun.
Work continues as we assembled the frame and await more parts. -9/2024
