Standing the PlayStation 5 Vertically could cause permanent damage.

PlayStation 5 users are advised not to stand their console upright, as doing so may cause permanent damage to the system’s hardware. This is reportedly due to a design flaw related to the cooling system for the PlayStation 5’s Accelerated Processing Unit. (APU)

Prolonged heat at high temperatures can ruin your circuit boards. But don't beat yourself up too bad, console overheating is often an external cause.

Fans / Vents

If you’ve had your console for a year or two, it may be full of dust. Dust clogs fans, vents and heat sinks, preventing your console from cooling properly or overheating and shutting down.

Circuit Faults

One thing that stands out about ColdConsoles from the competition is our expertise with PCB repair services. Many companies who offer PCB repair services send their repair orders to 3rd parties, as they don't have the expertise to fix the problems in-house.

At ColdConsoles we perform all diagnostics and repairs in-house.

Resurfacing is NOT a guaranteed method of repairing a disc that has issues, but it is a very good option for removing scratches, which cause most problems with discs not working properly. Please understand that we cannot guarantee your discs will be fully functional after being resurfaced.

Some scratches are just too deep to repair.
